On Wednesday, January the 8th, the stars flocked to L.A. to celebrate the fans’ choice. The People’s Choice Awards gives the fans, us everyday people, the opportunity to choose who deserves to be named “The Best.” Here at CW44, we are still celebrating the wins of our favorite stars and the shows we love. Take a look at our post, CW44’s People’s Choice Award Winners, to see the SEVEN wins that the CW stars and shows took home at the People’s Choice Awards.
Aside from the award wins, the best part of the night is the walk down the red carpet. With bated breath, we watch as the stars parade down the carpet in their Award Show best. Yet again, it is our chance to choose the winner.
Without further ado, I give you the People’s Choice Awards Fashion winners, and losers, of 2014!
Naya Rivera | I think Naya’s makeup and hair looked beautiful. The dress, however, was almost right. I really liked this look until I noticed the weird hi-low thing she had going on. Sorry Naya, no fashion award for you.
Britney Spears | With the release of her new album and a string of Vegas shows under her belt, Britney is working harder than ever. We have seen her body recently and it looks amazing… but this dress is doing it no justice. Her shoulders are too broad and her legs are too muscular for a dress like this. Sorry Britt, this dress is not a win.
Jennifer Hudson | Although I am not the biggest fan of her new do, I think everything about this look is perfect. The white dress accentuates her fit curves and her bold lip really pops. You totally win, girl!
Anna Faris | This look reminds us a lot of what we are seeing on the spring runways. It’s great that Anna took a risk and wore something so fresh and different, but her look is lacking something. She needs a bright, bold lip and maybe some fun jewelry to complete the look. Almost a win, but not quite.
Heidi Klum | I am not a fan of this dress at all. I congratulate Heidi for taking a risk with the plunging neckline, but the dress is not flattering. The sparkle and the ruffle on the shoulder make it look like a bad prom dress. This dress is a big loser.
Stephen Amell | It is so difficult to be objective when it comes to my Stephen, but I’ll try. I think blue is the perfect color for Stephen because it makes his baby blues pop! The only problem with this suit is the jacket; it looks a little tight when buttoned. Still, Stephen takes home a win with this suit!
Adelaide Kane | Adelaide’s hair and makeup are flawless. I love that she kept the dress simple with white and added a pop with the bright clutch. The bust of this dress is gorgeous and reminds me of her gowns on Reign with a modern twist. The bottom half of the dress feels like it doesn’t belong. Still, I think she looks stunning and I give her a win.
Ian Somerhalder | So close, Ian! Who doesn’t love a man in a suit, right? So why isn’t he wearing a suit?! Those TVD paychecks must be big enough to finance a whole suit. Lose the denim and buy some pants! Sorry Ian, your still gorgeous, but you lose this one.
Queen Latifah | Queen Latifah is always so classic. She knows how to dress to complement her curves and accentuate her best features. Yet again, she did not disappoint. She keeps her style classy and tailored and I love her peep toe shoes! This is a win, Queen!
Nina Dobrev | As you may have guessed, I saved my favorite for last. I love her dress, her shoes and her hair. The dress is elegant yet young and sexy. Her metallic platforms popped right off of her freshly tanned skin. Her messy, high bun was the perfect complement to put together look. Amazing! Definite win.
We’ll be watching next year, so bring your A-game, celebs! Congrats to the winners of the People’s Choice Awards and big congrats to our CW stars for landing seven wins!
